Jamiat-e-Huffaz formed in Bhatkal

Bhatkal - 08 July 2011: In order to bring all Huffaz of Bhatkal at one platform, Jamiat-e-Huffaz (Association of Hafiz-e-Quran) was formed at a program held here in Millia Masjid recently. Hafiz Nematulla Askeri was appointed as President and Hafiz S M Irfan as General Secretary.

The program was presided over by Moulana Iqbal Mulla Nadvi. Speaking on the occasion he gave several useful tips to the Huffaz-e-Karam, who gathered in large number. Providing some statistics about Huffaz-e-Quran of Bhatkal, he said that from Jamia alone nearly 300 Huffaz have completed their Hifz and nearly 350 Hafiz-e-Quran are there in Bhatkal at the moment.
