Jamia's Education Convention: Media committee holds press meet

Bhatkal/Karwar - 20 Feb 2012: As a part of preparations for the upcoming Jamia's Education Convention, which is scheduled from 18th March 2012, a media committee of Jamia held a press meet here at Bhakal and several other places including Karwar and Sirsi to brief the program schedules and its main objectives and also invited all the representatives of electronic and print media to cover this event.

Speaking on this occasion, media committee member, Mr Raza Manvi said that the event will commence from 18th March and will continue for 4 days. Hazrath Moulana Syed Rabey Hasani Nadvi will inaugurate this convention and the central theme of this convention would be 'Role of Islamic seminaries in promoting peace in this world'. He said that apart from eminent Muslim scholars and religious leaders, several Hindu, Christian and other religion scholars will also participate in this convention. An exhibition is also organized to showcase Nawayat culture and civilization. He added.

On this occasion, media committee members including Mr Inayatullah Gawai, Moulvi Abdul Hameed Atahar, Mr Rizwan Gangavali, Mr Raza Manvi, Mr Abdul Rawood Savanoor and Mubashir Hallare were present.
