Jamia students showcase their talents at annual cultural event

April 16, 2016 | Correspondent | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: Jamia Islamia Bhatkal organized its annual cultural event Friday evening at Tanzeem Ground, Nawayat Colony in which students of Jamia Islamia showcased their talents at various cultural programs. The beautiful rendering of Dialogues, Islamic anthems, and Poems in various languages including Urdu, Arabic, Hindi, Kannada and English beguiled the audience. On this occasion, many books authored by students of Jamia Islamia Bhatkal were launched. One such book that worths mention is "Life and Services of Maulana Abdul Bari Nadvi". Addressing the audience at the occasion, Jamia's Moderator Master Shafi Patel gave introduction of Jamia encouraged the audience to get their wards enrolled at Jamia Islamia to adorn them with religious knowledge. Jamia's Superintendent Maulana Maqbool Ahmed Kobatte, Maulana Ilyas Jakti, Maulana Mohammed Ayub Barmawar also expressed their thoughts at the occasion. The program ended with dua (prayers) by Maulana Abdul Aleem Kasmi. - ARF
