Jamia Islamia Bhatkal elects new office bearers

Bhatkal - 20 June 2012: Jamia Islamia Bhatkal elected its new office bearers after completion of Majlis-e-Shura (Advisory Council) elections at a function held here at Jamia Abad, Bhatkal. The function was started with the recitation of holy Quran and was presided over by Mr Abdul Hameed Damudi. Master Shafi Patel delivered welcome address while Moulana Abdul Aleem Qasmi greeted the guests and Shura members present over there.

The name of newly elected office bearers are as follows,

1. President - Janab Ali Malpa Saheb
2. Vice-president I - Janab Moulana Mohammed Iqbal Mulla Nadvi
3. Vice-president II - Janab Damudi Abdul Hameed Saheb
4. Nazim - Janab Shabandri Patel Shafi Saheb
5. Asst-nazim - Janab Moulana Abdul Aleem Qasmi Saheb
6. Treasurer - Janab Ruknuddin Abdul Raheem Saheb (Halwai)
7. Auditor - Janab Mohtesham Abdul Rahman Saheb Jan

Apart from the above, following members have been elected for the 5 vacant seats,

1. Janab Moulana Mohammed Sadiq Saheb Akrami
2. Janab Moulana Khaleelur Rahman Saheb Muniri
3. Janab Mohammed Meeran Saheb Siddiqua Handa
4. Janab Moulana Mohammed Talha Saheb Ruknuddin Nawab
5. Janab Moulana Abdul Mateen Saheb Muniri Nadvi

The program was concluded with the presidential address by Damudi Abdul Hameed Saheb.
