Jamia Convention begins in Bhatkal

Bhatkal -Thousands of Muslims and Non-Muslims got together on the first day of the Jamia Education Convention as top religious leaders convened at Jamia Islamia, Bhatkal from afternoon. Moulana Rabey Nadvi, President - All India Muslim Personal Law Board, Vishweshwara Hegde Kaageri, Karnataka Minister for Primary Education, Abdul Salam Puttige - Chief Editor Vaartha Bhaarti spoke on the occasion. Moulana Rabe Nadvi also addressed the session as he said, "We should learn to forget our differences, become patient and understand the difficulties of people around us to live a better life. India is a country of many cultures and we have to learn to live with unity to support the country's development and make it better."
