Jamia and Anjuman issue joint statement

Bhatkal - The dramatic turn of events on the last day of Jamia's educational convention in Bhatkal set tempers high as charged emotionsfueleda conflict of thought among students of Jamia Islamia and Anjuman Bhatkal. Keeping the sensitivity of the issue in mind, representatives from Jamia Islamia Bhatkal and Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen Bhatkal hosted a meeting to discuss the issue.

In a joint-statement issued to the media following the session, the General Secretary of Anjuman Hami-E-Muslimeen and Nazim of Jamia Islamia said, "Both parties have met and clarified the issue in the best interest of the community and it is hereby ordained that no institution, association, jamaat or individual can discuss the same."
