Jamatul Muslimeen Murudeshwar holds grand Eid function

26 Oct 2013 | Bhatkallys Correspondent | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: Jamatul Muslimeen Murudeshwar organized a grand Eid function today evening here in Murudeshwar Government School ground in which members of various parties and organizations, members of panchayat, and NRIs of Murudeshwar adorned the dais. Speaking as the Chief Guest of the function, Mr Ramdas Kamat said that we should learn a lesson of brotherhood on this Eid function. He praised the Muslims of Murudeshwar and said that there are rarely any incidents of communal clashes here as all the communities here live together in peace and harmony. On this occasion, Maulana Mohammed Hussain said that we will remain strong as long as we stay united with each other. In the light of Quran and Hadeeth, maulana explained the importance of unity and obedience to elders. Speaking at the function, General Secretary of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen Abdur Raheem Jukaku praised the members of Murudeshwar Jamat and urged the businessmen of Murudeshwar to open businesses in Murudeshwar itself. On this occasion, President of Panchayat Kumar B Naik, I R Bhat, R V Kamat, Ganesh Naik, President of Jamatul Muslimeen Murudeshwar Abdul Gafoor Khatal, Dr Ameenuddin, Abdus Samad Nadvi, and others were present on the dais.
