Jaali pattan panchayat elections in Bhatkal record 68.8% polling

April 24, 2016 | Correspondent | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: The polling for Jaali pattan panchayat elections in Bhatkal taluk was largely peaceful on Sunday barring stray incidents of violence. As per sources, elections in ten polling booths recorded an overall voter turnout of 68.8% with Polling Booth No 8 at Govt. Higher Primary School recording highest voter turnout while polling booth at Madina Colony recorded lowest voter turnout. Strict security arrangement were put in place in Bhatkal by ASP Anoop Shetty in view of Jaali pattan panchayat polls. – ARF
