Issuing of new ration card begins in Bhatkal

Bhatkal - 06 July 2012: As per the directions from Tahsildar office, issuing of new ration cards with photograph is started in Bhatkal for temporary ration card holders who don't have their family photographs on it. As per the directions, the temporary card holders are requested to visit their ration shop and confirm their names in the list. After that all members of the family above 12 years have to visit Vinayak Web World located near Bhatkal Urban Bank (Main Branch) along with their photo identity cards and electric bill for theenrollmentof their photographs in the new ration card. People coming under Gram Panchayat areas are requested to visit their Gram Panchayat office for this purpose.

It may be remembered that, this opportunity is available upto July 31. Those who fails to convert their temporary cards into a photo attached new card will not get ration from next month.
