Islamic summer camp held in Muscat, Bhatkalis participate

MUSCAT:An Islamic Summer Camp was recently held for students (grade IV to VIII) here at Indian School Al Ghubra. The students were given crash course on tajwid, safety aspects, diet and nutrition, besides talks on important Islamicsubjects. Islamic quizand indoor sports werealso held.Students were given prizes at the concluding ceremony. Bhatkal students also participated in the camp.

The resource persons at the camp included Dr Waseema Siddibapa Ayub, Farhat Ebrahim Khaleel Gawai and Dr Syed Omran Sakkaf. Moin Qureshi, Aftab Kola and Pushkin Agha organised the camp on behalf of Positive Group, a platform for prominentIndian Muslims based in Oman.
