Bhatkal: "Foundation of Islamic education and society should be laid from home as this generation itself will intermingle with the society and they themselves should become representatives of the society. If this task is initiated from home, then, gradually society will improve and the entire society will become Islamic" - this thought was expressed by Superintendent of Jamia Riyad-ul-Uloom, Maulana Ahmed Siraj Qasmi in a function titled "Let's build Islamic homes" organized by Jamaat-e-Islami Hind in Rabita Hall, as the key speaker of the function.
On this occasion, stressing the importance of Islamic Education Maulana Siraj said that we should establish Islamic schools in society where students should be provided education based on the principles of Islam. While equating Islam to one of the greatest blessings, Maulana Siraj said that Allaah has granted such a great blessing, but we are ungrateful and do not reflect on it.
We have forgotten the purpose for which we were created and what message is imparted by our religion. If we succeed in this aim then Allaah will cause peace and tranquillity to prevail in our society and the entire society will become Islamic which is the need of the hour.
A question and answer session was held after his speech wherein Maulana answered all the questions asked to him eloquently.
On this occasion, Abdul Gaffar, Hamid Amri, Maulana Syed Zubair, Nazeer Ahmed Shiralkappa, Qamruddin Mashaaikh, and other people were present.
A similar function was organized yesterday morning at Shams English Medium School in which Maulana Ahmed Siraj Qasmi gave exhaustive speech on obedience to parents and their rights. On this occasion, Principal-in-charge Professor Hashim Zarzari, Maulana Syed Zubair, Nazeer Ahmed Shiralkappa and other people were present.
