Bhatkal: December 12, 2020 (Bhatkallys News Bureau) The problem of garbage disposal in Rehmatabad coming under Heble Gram Panchayat limits still persists. Although the people there have complained to panchayat members and chief officers in this regard, the issue is being left as it is on the pretext of lack of space and other things. Seeing that these complaints were not effective, the people of the neighborhood handed over the memorandum to Bhatkal Assistant Commissioner Mr. Bharat S. and demanded immediate action. On this occasion, Abdul Haq Muniri, the head of the mohalla, while reading the memorandum, said that due to the lack of a permanent garbage collection system by the panchayat, piles of garbage have spread on both sides of Tengan Gundi Road. Due to the presence of many schools and residential houses, there is a risk of diseases on the one hand and on the other hand, the accumulation of dogs around the garbage makes it difficult for children to move around. Receiving the memorandum from the people, the Assistant Commissioner said that the code of conduct is still in force due to the Gram Panchayat elections. So they will try to solve the garbage problem after these elections. Mr. Abdul Sami Kola, Maulana Rehmatullah Nadvi, Aslam Walkoi, Mr. Talha Siddi Bapa, Naeem Tahir Bapu and others were present on the occasion.
