Iranian oil minister Bijan Zanganeh joins Twitter, despite country-wide ban

Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh reportedly joined Twitter on Wednesday “for dynamic communication,” despite a country-wide ban on the social media platform. Officially, Twitter is banned in Iran though it’s used by an increasing number of authorities, including President Hassan Rouhani and his foreign minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif.
