Intex FitRist Cardio with heart rate monitor launched at Rs 1,499, to be available exclusively on Amazon.in

FP|April 26,2017 Intex has announced a new activity tracker, called the FitRist Cardio. An update of the original FitRist, the new version comes with a heart rate monitor. The FitRist Cardio features a 2.18 cm OLED display with a 96 x 32 pixels resolution. It comes with Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity and is compatible with smartphones running on Android 4.4 and above and iPhones with iOS 7.0 and above. There is an 80 mAh battery that is said to offer 7 days of battery life. Apart from the heart rate sensor it includes a sleep monitor, hydration alarm, and a step and calorie counter. It is water resistant and Intex says that it will receive OTA updates via the connected smartphone. The fitness band can provide various notifications and can display incoming calls with caller ID when connected to an Android device. When connected to an iPhone, the band will only display the call icon in case the contact is stored on the phone else it will display the phone number. It can also be used to control music on your smartphone and as a remote shutter feature to click pictures.
