International seminar on 'Global Employability - Challenges and Prospects' held

Bhatkal - 27 July 2011: Anjuman Degree College and P G Center on Sunday, 24 July, organized an International seminar on 'Global Employability - Challenges and Prospects' here at Anjuman College premises. The seminar was organized in the pursuit of motivating and developing the competency of educated youths.
Speaking on the occasion, president of the function, Mr Syed Khaleel said, 'India is an emerging super power and has enormous employment opportunities compared to any other countries in the world. Today, we are attracted towards foreign countries because of their external gorgeousness but this is not the truth, the inside story is totally different and horrifying. Almost all countries are under heavy debt and their economic condition is not stable. The job market in the Gulf is volatile and uncertain, so it is recommended to explore opportunities in India rather than going abroad.' He expressed deep concern over increasing rate of crimes and corruption in India and appealed the people of India to fight against this menace. He also advised youths not to go after easy bucks and don't involve in any illegal activities. 'This will ruin your life.' He said.
Chief Guest of the function, Mr Abdul Raheem Jukaku, General Secretary Anjuman also spoke on this occasion and provided some useful tips to the job seekers.
The paper presentation started with Mohammed Yaseen Askeri, Account and Administration Manager, Wasma International, Saudi Arabia presenting his paper on 'Emerging Trends in Global Employability'.
Mr Abdul Rahman Siddiqui, Chief Financial Officer, MediaQuest Corp, Dubai, presented a paper on 'Overseas Placement Prospects in Managerial Position'
Mr Mohiddin Ruknuddin, Sales Support & Operating Manager, Shell Lubricant, Dubai, presented a paper on 'Career Opportunities in India'.
Mr S M Shuaib Koteshwar, Business Manager, Morgan International, Saudi Arabia, presented his paper on 'US Professional Certification for Global Placements'
Mr Mohammed Nauman Aliakbara, Basem International, Saudi Arabia, presented a paper on 'Challenges in Overseas Job Procurement'.
The program was started at 9:30 am with the recitation of verses from Holy Quran. Later, College Principal, Dr Zameerullah Sharief, presented welcome note and introduced the guests. Prof. Ravindra Naik & Prof. Sahil compered the program. Prof M M Shaikh delivered vote of thanks.
