Install CCTV in all colleges: Deshpande

July 23, 2014 | Correspondent | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: In a bid to inhibit incidences of sexual assaults in colleges, Minister for Higher Education Karnataka, Mr. R V Deshpande talked about installing CCTV cameras in all colleges to prevent crime against women. Addressing the media persons in a press conference organized at Karwar, he said, "The step has been taken in view of increasing cases of assaults against women in state-run colleges and other institutes" "This move is expected to lessen the rate of crime against women and will boost confidence in college going girls," he added. - ARF
