Infant found dead in a mysterious conditions at Mundgod

Mundgod 28 November 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) In a shocking incident that has been reported here at Hunagundu village of Mundgod taluk, an infant was found dead in a mysterious condition with critical injuries here on Tuesday. The locals speculated that, the infant might have died during his birth due to which someone might have dumped the baby into the garden belonging to Rustumsab Gori of Hunagyundu village. Injuries of dog bites were also found on the infant's body. However, as the villagers noticed the dead body of the infant, they immediately informed the gram panchayat members after which police personnel rushed to the spot. The police later shifted the infant's body to Government hospital for postmortem. A case has been registered at Mundgod police station and is investigations to trace the infant's parents are underway as the identification of the baby is yet to be done. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
