India's first railway hospital 'Lifeline Express' reaches Uttara Kannada district

Kumta 24 Oct 2017: India's first hospital that runs on the railway tracks is all set to treat people of Uttara Kannada district from 30th Oct 2017.
A full fledged railway hospital named 'Lifeline Express' by the Government has finally reached Uttara Kannada district to provide free medical service and treatments to the residents.
The train with its medical staff and all the equipment is currently stationed at Kumta railways station and will start rendering its service from 30th Oct 2017. Set aside ENT diagnosis and treatment, the Lifeline Express also has an full fledged Surgery ward and X-ray services inboard.
People can start heading to Kumta Railway station from 30th Oct to get themselves treated from the free of cost services rendered by Lifeline Express.
