Indian national asked to leave Oman after speech

Muscat: Oman's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned a speech delivered by Sulaiman Al Nadawi, and asked him to leave the country, the ministry announced.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its condemnation of the speech delivered by Sulaiman Bin Taher Al Husseini Al Nadawi, an Indian national, in front of the College of Shari'ah Sciences, on Tuesday, 28 Dhu al-Hijjah 1438 AH corresponding to September 19, 2017, which came out of the context of the lecture in a manner inconsistent with the principles, approaches, and policies of the Sultanate," the ministry said.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirms that the competent authorities in the Sultanate have taken action on the matter and asked him to leave the Sultanate," added the ministry.
