Indian community in Qatar celebrated I-Day

Doha - 18 August 2011: Indian community in Qatar celebrated India's 65th Independence Day here in Doha, Qatar. On this occasion large number of Indians including Indian Ambassador, Ms Deepa Gopalan participated in the event and while addressing the gathering she expressed deep concern over the corruption in India.

An exhibition was also arranged at Indian Cultural Center's Ashok Hall, wherein photos related to India's Freedom Struggle were displayed.
