Indian Coast Guard escorts all young fishermen trapped near Netrani Island to Karwar port

Bhatkal: September 11, 2020 (Bhatkallys News Bureau) All the 24 fishermen of Bhatkal who were trapped in the Arabian sea while returning from fishing on Thursday have been taken to Karwar beach by an Indian Coast Guard boat. According to sources, the Indian Coast Guard boat captained by Kasturba Gandhi Commander Akash Sharma had reached the spot last night but due to some difficulties, the rescue operation was launched at around 10:00am this morning. It has been reported that the coast of Bhatkal was not suitable for Indian Coast Guard boats and all of them were taken to Karwar.
