"India produces the most succesful technical manpower in the world" Dr. G Parameshwara at Rabita Awards ceremony

Bhatkal 10 August 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) The much anticipated Rabita excellence awards, also known as Rabita awards was organized on Friday August 10 at the Anjuman Ground near old bus stand here in the presence of Deputy CM of Karnataka Dr. G Parameshwara and other prominent personalities. The Rabita awards that are held annually, felicitates the academic toppers of Bhatkal community across the world with awards that are considered prestigious in the community lines, while a rolling shield is awarded to the best school of Bhatkal town, and a teacher with above par performance and influence of the students is also awarded with the title of 'Best Teacher of Bhatkal'. Dr. G Parameshwara was the chief guest for the event along with Allahabad High Court Advocate and Secretary of All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB), and Bhatkal Honnavar MLA Sunil Naik. Speaking at the event, Dr. Parameshwara, congratulated Rabita Society Bhatkal for taking the initiative of awarding the academic performers to encourage them and carrying it out for over 29 years now. He also added that India, after independence has been producing the most successful technical manpower in the world, and by organizing such awards ceremony the Rabita Society is carrying out its social responsibility to encourage the students to further enhance their performances. He also congratulated all the winners of the awards. Speaking of his connection with the Bhatkal town he added "Late SM Yahya of Bhatkal is my 'political guru' I will remember and pay respect to him till my last breath, today when I visited his house I almost cried remembering the days when I used to sleep at the place and take blessings from his mother". Zafaryab Jilani, who represents AIMPLB in Supreme Court in cases like Babri Masjid and Triple Talaq spoke about the importance of education and being aware of the current affairs of the country. While speaking about the current scenario of the nation Jilani added "The constitution of India has given fundamental rights to citizens of India irrespective of caste, creed, sex and religion, and no authority, body or government can take it away from you no matter what majority it has in the parliament. Abdul Bais s/o Abdul Basith Kadli was awarded with special award for his outstanding performance in the Chemical Engineering stream where he bagged six gold medals for his academic performances throughout the course, while Khadija d/o Saleem Kola was awarded for excelling in the legal field in California, USA where she was recently enrolled as an attorney of the Bar council. Several other students were also awarded with certificates and gold coins for their academic performances in different streams and in different parts of the world. Anjuman girls high school was awarded Usman Hassan rolling shield for the best school, while Ms. Mueena of New Shams School was awarded the best teacher award. The event concluded with the presidential remarks by Zahid Ruknuddin, President of Rabita Society Bhatkal followed by supplications by Qazi Khalifa Jamat-ul-Muslimeen Bhatkal Moulana Khaja Mohinudeen Akrami Madani.
