Increasing Corruption is a major hurdle for development - Santosh Hegde

Bhatkal - 05 Feb 2012: Increasing corruption and scams in govt department are a big hurdle in development and it is ruining our country . Because of this, poor and eligible people are struggling for their rights'. These are the views expressed by former Karnataka Lokayukta and Ex Supreme Court Judge, Justice Santosh Hegde. He was addressing the gathering at a program organized by Bhatkal Education Trust on the occasion of its Platinum Jubilee Celebrations. Addressing the students he said, 'Today in our country, many evils have entered into our society and you can play an important role in eradicating these evils.'

On this occasion President of Universal Learning , Bangalore Mr T V Mohandas Pai, Vice Chancellor of Karnataka Open University Dr Sudha Rao, Vice President of Inforsys Limited Mr Ram Das Kamath have also interacted with the people.
