Incessant rain – Red alert declared in DK, Udupi, Uttara Kannada on Jul 24, 25

Mangaluru, Jul 24: The meteorological department has issued a red alert for today and tomorrow, July 24 and 25, in the districts of Dakshina Kannada, Uttara Kannada, and Udupi as heavy rains continue to batter these coastal areas for the past two days. Meanwhile, Chikkamagaluru, Shivamogga, and Kodagu districts have been put on an orange alert, while Bagalkote, Belagavi, Havari, Kalburgi, Haveri, Hassan, and Vijayapura districts have been placed under a yellow alert.
