In Bhatkal, names of 150 persons excluded in voters list

6th May 2013 / Rizwan Gangavaly / Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: In Konar locality of Bhatkal Taluka, there are approximately 150 persons who have Voter Id cards but their names did not appear in voters list. As a result, they weren't able to cast their votes. When they complained regarding this to the election officer, the latter threatened to initiate a legal action against them. Aggravated on this, they started protesting against it during the elections. Soon, ISP Sudheer Reddy, PSI Naveen Jogi, circle inspector Belly Appa and other officers reached there and sent them back after settling the matter.
