Similar conditions are forecast in southern interior districts including Chamarajanagar, Kodagu, Mysuru, Mandya, Shivamogga, Kolar, Chikkamagaluru, Bengaluru Rural, Bengaluru Urban, Tumakuru, Chikkaballapur, Ramanagara, Chitradurga and Davanagere.

Officials have advised people, especially in coastal districts, to take precautions during peak afternoon hours as temperatures continue to climb.
