Imam of Haram Shaikh Abdur Rahman Al-Sudais Will Visit Deoband on 25 March

Deoband : Mar 2, 2011: Shaikh Abdur Rahman Al-Sudais, the Imam of Haram in Makkah, is paying a visit to India on the invitation of Maulana Arshad Madani in the end of March 2011. He will atend 'Azmate-e-Sahaba Conference' held by Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind New Delhi.

There are reports that the Imam will pay a visit to Darul Uloom Deoband on 25th March 2011 and will lead the Friday prayer at Masjid Rasheed (in Darul Uloom Deoband).

On 26th March 2011, the Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind is organizing "AZMAT-E-SAHABA CONFERENCE" at Ram Lila Maidan, New Delhi. Dr. Al-Sodais will give a lecture on the life and status of the Companions of the Prophet (SAW) and lead the Maghrib and Esha prayer at the venue of the conference.

In the last few months, several Saudi Ulama and delegates visited Deoband. More importantly, Shaikh Awwama and Shaikh Aidh al-Qarni visited Darul Uloom Deoband in last Feb.
