II PU results to be out on May 10

BANGALORE: The results of the II Pre-University course examination will be announced on May 10.

Minister for Primary and Secondary Education Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri told that all arrangements had been made to declare the results on May 10.

"The results will be available on the websites only after an official declaration is made on May 10", Mr. Kageri said in response to a question.

Some 6.24 lakh students appeared for II PUC examination held in March.

SSLC results before May 15

Mr. Kageri said the results of the SSLC examination would be announced before May 15.

He, however, did not specify the date. "But, we will announce the results before May 15", he said.

The SSLC examination was held between April 1 and 13 in 2,951 centres across the State. A total of 8.75 lakh students appeared for the examination.

The Karnataka State Secondary Education Examination Board had to conduct re-examination for about 2,500 students from Mysore district whose Hindi answer scripts were burnt in an accidental fire that occurred at Basaveshwara High School in Shimoga where the answer papers were stored.
