Idara Adab-e-Islami Hind organises condolence meet for Dr. Mohammed Hussain Fitrath

Bhatkal 23 September 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Idara Adab-e-Isami Hind Bhatkal unit on Sunday organized a condolence meet for the late legendary Urdu poet Dr. Mohammed Hussain Fitrath Bhatkalli, at Masjid-e-Ahmed Sayeed of Hurlisal locality here. National President of the Idara Adab-e-Islami Hind Dr. Shah Rashad Usmani presided over the event, while local president Qadir Meeran Patel, Prof Abdul Rawoof Savnur, Ibrahim Khaleel Jawhar, Abrar Khateebi, Moulana Syed Zubair SM and others spoke about the characteristics and personality of the late poet while also expressing their condolence on his demise. Farkhalid Raza Manvi and Ismail Mohtesham were among those who voiced Naats penned by the poet during the event. Dr. Haneef Shabab while recalling the days when he was thought the first lesson of poetry by Dr. Hussain Fitrath added that the organization will publish the unpublished poetry of the poet soon along with the book penned by another late poet Ashraf Barmawar during a literary seminar that will be organized by Idara Adab-e-Islami Hind in Bhatkal. Dr. Shah Rashad Usmani, during his presidential address added that Dr. Fitrath’s stature as legendary poet of Urdu was not confined to Bhatkal or Karnataka alone but that he was known as an accomplished poet  across the Urdu world. Qamruddin Mashaikh, Iqbal Sayeedi, Mujahid Mustafa and others were present during the event. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
