Idara Adab-e-Islami-Hind Bhatkal unit organizes ghazal competition

21 Dec 2015 | Correspondent | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: A ghazal competition among high school and pre-university college students was organized by Idara Adab-e-Islami-Hind Bhatkal unit at Shams English Medium School Bhatkal. Presiding over the function at Shams School, renowned intellectual Qadir Meeran Patel said that pen is mightier than sword, where sword has helped win battles, pen has helped to erect knowledge of victory and success. On this occasion, the town's renowned poet, writer and critic Dr. Haneef Shabab also expressed his thoughts pertaining to the occasion and praised the efforts of Idara Adab-e-Islami. In this program, students from more than 15 schools from Bhatkal taluka participated with great vigour. - ARF
