Idara Adab e Atfal’s second Book Reading Awareness Campaign to begin on October 5

Bhatkal: 21 September 2023 (Bhatkallys News Bureau)  Idara Adab e Atfal, a local organization known for managing children's libraries in Bhatkal, is taking measures to promote reading among young minds. Their latest initiative, the Book Reading Awareness Campaign, is set to inspire children to delve into the world of literature.

The campaign is scheduled to kick off on October 5, 2023. The book reading competition will be held at the "Maulana Abdul Bari Library" and "Fitrat Library."

Interested children are invited to participate in this event by obtaining participation forms from Maulana Abdul Bari Library and Fitrat Library.

The highlight of this competition is the prestigious "Fakhr e Atfal" Award, which will be bestowed upon participants who read the highest number of pages during the campaign. In addition to this prestigious recognition, outstanding participants will receive special prizes and certificates.

The Director of Library Department at Idara Adab e Atfal, Bhatkal, Riyazurrahman Akrami, expressed his enthusiasm for this campaign and emphasized its importance in nurturing a genuine adoration for reading among children.

He also noted that this campaign is being organised on the back of the success of previous book reading competitions organized by the organization.
