Hyderabadi cuisine now available in Bhatkal

The new food stall named "Zaika Hyderabad" is located opposite Hotel Citylight on the national highway. Speaking to Bhatkallys, Sayeem Damudi, owner of Zaika Hyderabad, said he started the restaurant to cater to foodies in Bhatkal as he himself is an avid gourmet. Popular dishes at his stall include Haleem, Hyderabadi Biryani, Pathar ka Gosht, among others. Hyderabadi cuisine also known as Deccani cuisine of India, is the native cooking style of the Hyderabadi Muslims, and is an amalgamation of Mughlai, Turkish and Arabic along with the influence of the native Telugu and Marathwada cuisines. It comprises a broad repertoire of rice, wheat and meat dishes and the skilled use of various spices, herbs and natural edibles. - ARF
