Hyderabad: Two grads fail police exam, end lives

Hyderabad: Depressed at not clearing the entrance examination for the post of constable in the state police, two youngsters committed suicide in separate instances at Bantwaram and Yalal in Vikarabad district. According to the Bantwaram police, A Kumar, 25, a graduate, took the recruitment last year and this year. He failed this year’s exam by two marks. Kumar hang himself from a hook in the ceiling of his house when his parents were away. In another incident on Monday, D. Rohit, 24, an engineering graduate from Rasanam Yalal mandal in Vikarabad district, committed suicide by hanging at his house. His parents told that the police that he was depressed at having not clearing the police constable entrance examination and could have taken the extreme step for that reason. Source: Deccan Chronicle
