Hundreds of poisonous Jellyfish wash ashore at Tagore beach in Karwar; Panics visitors

Karwar 13 October 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) A sense of panic emerged on the Tagore beach of Karwar on Friday October 12, when the visitors noticed abundance of poisonous Jellyfish on the shores of the sea here.
Commenting on the issue Jagannath Rathod, a Marine life expert said "the venomous Jellyfish might have got washed ashore while migrating in groups in the Arabian sea. "
“As most of the Jellyfish are harmless to humans but there are some which could harm severely as its sting could cause itching and severe pain for a long duration” he added.
The visitors at the avoided swiping the fishes back into the water fearing the venom of the species.
The fishes later crawled back to the waters after lying hours in the shore.
