Hubli: AITM Bhatkal bags overall championship at KLE's Advitya 2k18 fest

Bhatkal 1 October 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Students of Anjuman Institute of Technology and Management (AITM) Bhatkal, fared in their performance at the Technical fest Advitya 2k18 organised by Karnataka Lingayath Education Society (KLEIT) Hubli on September 28 and 29. The students performed exceptionally well and secured top position in several events where in over 1100 students from across the country participated in the National level fest. Students of all the departments from the college participated in the fest and collectively won 18 positions in the fest to bag the overall championship for the college. Civil department: Khizer Khalifa and Imran BK of Civil department secured first and third place respectively in Autocad competition, while two teams of the same department comprising Team 1 Sawood, Saman and Mafaz, Team 2 Suweba, Muskaan and Najila secured first and second place in 'Bob the builder' event, a team comprising of Umair and Siddique also from the civil department secured third position in 'Hunt with Hint' (Treasure hunt) event. Computer Science department: Computer Science department of the college excelled in the IT Quiz competition as two teams comprising of Faihan Shabandri & Aakif, and Enaas & Namrah secured first and third place respectively. The team of Enaas Mohtesham and Namrah also bagged third place in 'Techathon' event, Enaas also secured third place in paper presentation while team of Kalimuddin, Aquib, Amruta and Ranjana secured second place in treasure hunt. Electronics and Communication department: Daniya Rukiya of Electronic and Communication department secured third place in Paper conferel, and team of Anas & Ambari and Yafe & Ayaz secured second and third place respectively in 'Scantilax' event. Electrical and Electronics department: All the three prizes of 'Fun factory' event was bagged by Electrical and Electronic department students. Team 1 Shaihan & Umair, Team 2 Abzan & Itban, Team 3 Kuldeep & Zayeem bagged first, second and third place respectively. Team of Kuldeep and Hajira also bagged third place in 'Techno Frenzy' event. Mechanical department: Arfa Ekkeri and Suhail of Mechanical department teamed up to win 'Tech Quiz' event. Management, staffs and principal of AITM congratulated the students for their outstanding performance during the fest and wished them luck for the future events.
