Honnavar: One arrested while transporting illegal cattle, Police looking for two more accused

Honnavar 03 March 2018: Honnavar police have arrested a person near Sharavati circle of Honnavar in connection with illegal transportion of cattles on a Bolero truck here on Thursday.

The accused has been identified as Prashant Devdas Naik of Ankola.

 Around 5:30am on Thursday the Honnavar police after getting a reliable information from ‘Hindu Jagarana Vedike’ stopped the Bolero truck and caught hold of Six cattle and also seized the vehicle used for transportation along with the driver.

After interrogation of  the truck driver,he revealed the involvement of Nagesh Naik of Kudragi and Muhammad Muktahir of Valki of Honnavar Taluk.  On his statement the police have began the search of both.

A case has been registered at Honnavar Police station and further investigation are under process.
