Honnavar: Depressed over Cancer, patient commits suicide

Honnavar 5 July 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) A 43-year-old woman committed suicide by jumping into a well at Gerusoppa of Honnavar Taluk here on Wednesday, 5 July allegedly due to the depression she was going through because of the cancer she was diagnosed with. The deceased has been Identified as Bhavani Sadhanand Naik, a resident of Gerusoppa. Bhavani was diagnosed with Pregnancy cell cancer and was being treated for it from last three years. Depressed over her ailments on Wednesday morning she jumped into a deep well at a garden near her residence and killed herself, The locals however recovered her body from the well and shifted it to the government hospital of Honnavar for post- Mortem.
