HJV holds protest against arrest; submits memorandum to AC

Bhatkal - 04 Oct 2011: Hindu Jagran Vedike yesterday held a protest in-front of Assistant Commissioner's office here in Bhatkal and submitted memorandum to AC demanding immediate release of accused involved in the Sarpankatta incident within two days.

Speaking on the occasion, HJV Uttara Kannada Unit Convenor, Mr Gonda Naik said that the arrested persons are innocent and they should be released within two days. He warned against massive protest if they are not released and the charges leveled against them are not dropped.
