Hit-and-run crash injures three persons in Bhatkal

Correspondent | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal, May 16: Three persons have been injured in a road accident that took place at Tenginagundi Cross on NH66 today morning at around 10.45 am. The injured have been identified as Santosh(45), Nayeem (26) and Mohammed Ghouse(28). Santosh and Nadeem were heading towards Shamsuddin Circle when a speeding Mumbai-registered Toyota Innova car hit them and fled from the scene, sources informed. Mohammed Ghouse, a pedestrian walking by also sustained minor injuries as a result of this accident. The injured were immediately taken to state-run hospital for treatment. The police was informed about the vehicle that fled the scene. The hit-and-run crash driver was subsequently nabbed by police at Sarpankatta Check Post. ARF
