HESCOM says some areas in Bhatkal expected to face power disruption till Friday; Details here

Bhatkal: 22 May 2024 (Bhatkallys News Bureau)  A 15 MVA transformer failure at the Heble Grid in Bhatkal taluk has disrupted power supply in several areas, and the outage is expected to last until Friday, 24th May. This information was provided by Manjunath, the Assistant Engineer at Bhatkal HESCOM.

The affected areas include Hanifabad, Kargedde, Nawayat Colony, Sagar Road, Kadwin Katta, Usman Nagar, Mutalli, Purvarga, Sarpankatte, Bhatkal Bazar, VT Road, Sonarkeri, Tengingundi Cross, and Hondikeri. Residents in these areas will experience interruptions in their electricity supply until the issue is resolved.

Manjunath has urged the residents to cooperate with HESCOM as they work to fix the problem and restore normal power supply as quickly as possible.
