HD Kumaraswamy to visit Bhatkal on March 17, may meet Tanzeem: Sources

Bhatkallys News Bureau/ Ismail Zaorez Bhatkal 01 March 2018: Janata Dal (Secular) JDS Karnataka President H.D Kumaraswamy is expected to visit Bhatkal on a short one day trip on March 17, a JDS Party source from Bengaluru informed Bhatkallys.com The Party President is expected to hold a public rally in Bhatkal and might also arrange a meeting with the officials of Majlis-e-Islah Wa Tanzeem Bhatkal, the source told Bhatkallys.com adding that the details of the trip are yet to be finalized. The trip will be Kumaraswamy's first visit to Bhatkal after he jumped into political arena in 1996, and later went on to become CM of Karnataka in 2006. The trip and the meeting with the Tanzeem officials will play an important in the upcoming assembly elections, as Majlis-e-Islah Wa Tanzeem is yet to decide its candidate to lend support. Inayathullah Shabandri, the district president of JDS Uttara Kannada, and also the Vice President of Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem has already secured the party ticket to contest from Bhatkal constituency for the assembly election which are expected in May this year.
