Halted for monsoon, all the pending road works in Bhatkal expected to begin after November 14

Bhatkal 30 October 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Pending road repair/ construction work which were halted due to Monsoon are expected to resume in November second week post Deepavali, informed TMC Engineer Umesh while speaking to Bhatkallys.com
"About 60% of the sanctioned work in pending, which has been approved and sanctioned in the general body meetings, 40% of them have been completed before the monsoon season and rest of it were put on hold as we can't work during monsoon season" Umesh added.
Several poor road conditions were reported and brought to the notice of administration in a series of news reports while taking into confidence local social workers and active members.
However, TMC Engineer Umesh and Chief Officer had time and again assured Bhatkallys.com of initiating the pending work soon after monsoon season, on Tuesday when Bhatkallys.com spoke to Umesh and reminded him of the commitments, Umesh said the work will resume all at once after November second week.
It will be interesting to see how the administration will look into the issue and respond the public's need to lay down new roads or repair the old one for the betterment of its respective commuters.
