Gwalior: Three-year-old kid rescued from borewell declared dead

New Delhi: A three-year-old boy who fell into a borewell on Friday in Kheri Gaon village of Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh has been declared dead at a hospital. The boy, Abhi Pachori, accidently fell into the borewell which is about 28 to 29 feet deep on Friday evening.
In a picture tweeted by ANI on Saturday morning, the snake was spotted near the borewell in which the child had fallen on Friday.
After the villagers informed the police, the rescue team was immediately sent to the spot. The rescue team of Border Security Force (BSF) was also contacted to pull the boy out safely.
“A team of field officials including sub-divisional magistrate (SDM), revenue officials and rescue team have been sent to the spot,” sources said.
SDM Aman Veer Singh Vains said that the rescue team has managed to sight the boy and oxygen is being supplied to the child through a pipe.
“We have gone 25 feet deep and have to go about another four feet. The boy is in a stationary stage in the bore-well”, added the SDM.
