Guru Sudheendra College raises voice to curb crime against women

July 23, 2014 | Correspondent | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: In a bid to raise voice against increasing rate of crime against women in the country, a special function was held here at Guru Sudheendra College in Bhatkal. Speaking at the function as the chief guest, Uttar Karnataka district's SP Mr. Dilip said that incidences of sexual assaults in the country are increasing day by day. In the previous year itself, there were reports of 1030 cases of rapes in the country, he added. Raising his voice for formation of a crime-free nation, he said that we should all stand united in combating these crimes, take proactive steps is curbing the crime wherever it's taking place and cooperate with the authorities in this effort.   - ARF
