Guidelines for Qurbani proposed during Bainul Jamati Conference, Calicut

An International Conference of all Bhatkali Jamats around the globe was held at Calicut early this year in which several resolutions / recommendations were passed and among them one which was passed unanimously with utmost severity and sincerity was the resolution on Qurbani which is as follows,

It has been resolved and approved that on the occasion of Baqar-e-Eid, buying of sacrificial animal at exorbitant prices making a show of pride and status be stopped and public be restrained from doing this so that this great Sunnah be made affordable to middle class people. This way we can restrained those involved in illegal profiteering by allowing the prices to a reasonable and logical level comparable to other areas around us.

On the basis of above resolution it was agreed unanimously that all the participating Jamats and association be requested to take all the required steps to implement above resolution through their members on their platform putting special emphasis on the executive members of all the participating Jamats to take personal responsibility to implement this on their part and inspire their friends and relation whom they can influence.

Hopefully if we are serious to implement the resolutions passed in the conference taking individual lead personally and collectively on Jamat platforms then Insha Allah we will take our society to the next level excellence in terms of Sheria and character also.

If in the execution of Sunnat-e-Ibrahimi, our act is free of self display of our status, wealth and pride then hopefully Almighty Allah will accept our sacrifices and will guide us to the true path. With this we will be able to make Allah happy with our acts.
