GSB Samaj President Harishchandra Kamat no more

Bhatkal 22 February 2019:(Bhatkallys News Bureau) Shri. Harishchandra Apppanna Kamat, President of GSB Samaj of Bhatkal Tauka on Thursday, breathed his last at the age of 81, due to cardiac arrest here at his residence in Bhatkal. He was a prominent personality of GSB Samaj and was actively involved in most of the affairs of the community. He is survive by a wife, a son and two daughters. On Thursday as his death news was doing rounds among the public, shops belonging to GSB community remained closed as a mark of respect and tribute to their Samaj President. Several people of the Bhatkal Taluka and heads of various associations reached his home to get a glimpse of him for the last time. (Bhatkallys News Bureau/Rizwan Gangavali)
