Govt school compound wall falls killing one student

Chikkaballapur: In a tragic incident, a student of a government school died after the school compound wall collapsed smothering him to death on Tuesday, September 4. The deceased is Arun, a student of Dinnur Government school of Chikkaballapur district. It is said that Arun was near the compound wall when a portion of the wall came crumbling down, killing Arun. School authorities immediately rushed the boy to Vanivilas hospital in Bengaluru, but he could not be saved. The wall was built recently and the fall within few months has sparked suspicion of sub-standard work having been executed. Source: News Karnataka
