Golden Jubilee of Jamia Islamia to be celebrated from March 19-21

Bhatkal - 04 January 2012: To commemorate the Golden jubilee of Jamia Islamia, it has been decided, under the patronage of Moulana Syed Mohammed Rabey, to organise a series of Dawah and Literary programs on nationaland international level on 25-27 Rabi-us- Saani 1433, corresponding to March 19-21, 2012on the central theme, 'Role of Islamic Institutions in Propagating Peace'.
On this occasion, several seminars will be held on topics like 'Importance and Needof Religious Studies in Secular Education', 'Enlightening the New Generation of Students with Islamic Fundamentals and Values','Contribution of Shafi Scholars from the Sub-Continent in the Domain of Fiqh (Jurisprudence), 'Contribution of Old Students of Jamia in the Field of Dawah and Education'and also on issues of Human Rights. A galaxy of experts from reputed institutions and universities from across the world will participate in these seminars.
