Gokarna: Two arrested while illegally transporting cattle

Gokarna 17 December 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Gokarna police on Sunday arrested two persons for allegedly smuggling 12 cattle here at Herogutti checkpost near Gokarna. The detained have been identified as Jaffer Sadiq Munaf and Eerappa Gundappa of Davangere. Acting on a credible information, the police personnel stopped the truck carrying 12 cows without any valid documents at the checkpoint near Herugutte of Gokarna. The police detained both the accused and also seized the truck from the place. A case has been registered at Gokarna Police station. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
