Gokarna: Foreign tourist collapse and dies; Alcohol addiction being suspected

Bhatkallys News Bureau/ Fristen Dias Bhatkal 09 Jan 2018: In an unfortunate incident that took place at Rathabidi of Gokarna in Uttara Kannada district, a foreigner tourist collapsed and died on Monday. The deceased has been identified as Jeral Bernard (44) a national of France who was on a tour to India and had visited several places of the country before landing in Gokarna as part of his tour. The reason for the death is speculated to be his addiction of drinking alcohol throughout the day. A case has been registered at Gokarna Police Station. Source : Eesanje.com
